Skullcandy Crusher Evo Hinge No Solder Both Sides Set Black Repair Kit
3D Printed Replacement Hinge Set for Skullcandy Crusher Evo — Two-Piece, No Soldering
Left and right hinges, total. Black PETG. Assembles around the cable — the wiring stays intact.
Part Details
- Material: PETG — chosen for its impact resistance and thermal stability over standard PLA, which softens in a hot car and cracks under load. The model's designer printed and tested this part in PETG as well.
- Quantity: — two halves for the left hinge, two halves for the right
- Color: Black
- Fit: Two-part split hinge that assembles around the cable, no wiring work required
- Brand: Unbranded aftermarket replacement
Why This Hinge Breaks
The hinge carries the full clamping force of the headband and still has to fold flat every time the Evo goes in a bag. It is thin molded plastic at the pivot and it eventually cracks there, leaving the ear cup loose or hanging. Everything expensive about the headphones — drivers, battery, Bluetooth board — is still fine at that point, which is why replacing the hinge is worth doing instead of replacing the headphones.
Why Two Pieces Instead of One
A one-piece hinge has to be threaded onto the cable, which means cutting the wiring and soldering it back together after the part is on. Splitting the hinge into two halves that clamp around the cable removes that step entirely. If you have looked at this repair before and given up at the soldering, this is the version that does not ask you to do it.
Compatible Models
Skullcandy Crusher Evo. This is dimensioned for the Evo specifically — the Crusher Wireless, Crusher 360, Crusher ANC and Hesh lines use different hinge geometry and are not covered by this part. Check the photos against your own broken hinge and confirm the screw spacing before ordering.
