Why This Clip Breaks

These clips are small plastic tabs molded onto the headrail that snap over the top valance to hold it in place. They're brittle from the factory, and age, sun exposure, or removing the valance for cleaning or repainting is enough to snap one off. Hunter Douglas doesn't sell the clip on its own, so a buyer who loses one or two is normally stuck sourcing a used headrail or living with a sagging valance.
