Why You Need This Cover

Mavic Air 2 and Air 2S batteries have no built-in guard over their metal terminal contacts. Toss a spare battery loose in a backpack or case and it's easy for keys, screws, or another battery's contacts to bridge the terminals — which can short the pack and damage a battery that costs $90 or more to replace. This cover snaps over the contacts whenever the battery is out of the drone or charger.
