3D Printed Roomba Charging Contact i1 i3 i5 i7 J7 J8 J7+ Auto Dirt Disposal

Replacement plastic charging contact holder — fits iRobot Clean Base ADE-N1, ADG-N1 (i-series and select j-series — does NOT fit j5)

Part Details

• Part Name: Charging Contact Holder
• Fits: iRobot Clean Base ADE-N1, ADG-N1
• Material: PETG (heat resistant)
• Color: Black
• Quantity: 2 pieces
• Includes: Holders only — metal contacts and springs not included

Why This Part Fails

• Every time a Roomba docks, electrical current passes through the metal charging contacts on the Clean Base. Over hundreds of docking cycles, the heat generated at the contact points slowly degrades the plastic holder surrounding them. The plastic softens, warps, and eventually the contacts sink or tilt out of position — causing the Roomba to charge intermittently, not charge at all, or trigger a burning smell. iRobot sells the entire Clean Base assembly as a unit, not the individual holder, making this printed replacement the most cost-effective fix available.
