Why This Hinge Breaks

The WH-1000XM5 headband hinge is a common failure point — repeated folding and torque at the swivel eventually cracks or snaps the factory hinge, disconnecting the earcup from the headband. This kit replaces the broken hinge assembly on one or both sides so you don't have to replace the whole headphone.
