Why This Gear Breaks

The drive gear is the single plastic part connecting the metal motor shaft to the blade cup. When the blades jam on ice or frozen fruit, or the blender is run too long, the gear's teeth are the part designed to give first — they round off and strip rather than stalling the motor or straining the blade assembly. Once the teeth are stripped, the motor spins freely and the blade just sits there, even though the motor itself is still fine.

Compatible Models

Fits the NutriBullet 600W/900W blender platform (sold under various model numbers across that lineup). Does NOT fit the NutriBullet RX / N17-1001 (1700W) — that line uses its own, differently-shaped drive gear.
