Why This Hinge Breaks
The inner hinge is the small piece that lets each earcup swivel and tilt against the headband, and on a very high-volume gaming headset like the Cloud II it is cycled constantly — every time the headset is put on, taken off, or twisted while being set down. It is a thin, load-bearing part doing that job with very little material behind it, so it wears thin and eventually snaps or cracks at the pivot. HyperX does not sell the hinge by itself; the official fix is a full replacement headband assembly, which is why a mostly-fine headset so often ends up shelved over one small broken piece.

Fits: HyperX Cloud II and Cloud Core gaming headsets — the inner headband hinge on each earcup.
We have not separately verified wired vs. wireless sub-variants of these headsets. Compare the part to your original broken hinge, or check that it matches your headband's hinge slot, before ordering.
