Why This Latch Breaks

• The accessory attachment latch is the spring-loaded button that locks the floor head, mini motorized brush, and other accessories onto the extension tube. Every time you swap an attachment or dock the vacuum, this latch clicks in and out under spring tension. The original Tineco plastic fatigues quickly under that repeated load — snapping at the spring channel or losing its retention force entirely. Once it goes, attachments no longer lock in place and the vacuum becomes unusable without holding the head by hand. Tineco does not sell this latch as a standalone part, leaving replacement of the entire tube as the only OEM option.
