Why This Clip Breaks

• The floor nozzle retention clip is the small plastic tab that locks the floor cleaning head onto the connection wand during use. It engages and releases every time the nozzle is swapped or the vacuum is stored. The thin plastic fatigues over time and eventually snaps — causing the floor nozzle to separate from the wand mid-cleaning. Miele does not sell this small clip individually. The only official option is a full repair kit costing approximately $40 or more. This printed replacement restores full locking function for a fraction of that price.
