Once it cracks, the wand either won't release or won't lock back onto the body, which takes the whole upright out of service over one small plastic tab. Dirt Devil doesn't sell this clip on its own — the only OEM option on the resale market is a used take-off part running $12-13 shipped, more than it costs to print a new one.

Compatible Models

Fits: Dirt Devil Power Max Pet family — UD70167 (Power Max), UD70167P (Power Max Pet), UD70170 (Pro Express), UD70172 (Pro Power), UD70174 (Endura Max), UD70182 — these share the same upright body and wand-release mechanism.
The designer's model page gives no fitment notes beyond "Power Max Pet" and does not confirm exact dimensions against each model number individually.
